Fantstic debut from the Coen brothers. I have now seen everything the Coen brothers have done. I feel accomplished. This is a great debut. It’s slow, dark, witty, tense, and acted out wonderfully. It also is a great watch for catching some of the Coens famous shots that they are known for. Every one of their films just eeks out originality. I could watch their films forever. This one was a fairly “simple” plot that just worked its way into your brain utilizing great acting and sill tense shots to raise the suspense. I liked it a lot. It should be viewed along with the rest of their entire collective works.
