Short Film Review – La Chambre (1972)

Every once in a while I’ll watch a short film. I happened to find this on Hulu Plus but I also found the whole ten minute film on youtube. The film is as minimalist as you can get as it’s an unbroken shot that pans in a circle but as you’ll see, things change. It takes place in an apartment/house and doesn’t break until the film ends. I might sound a bit pretentious, but I like these kind of films. They show creativity even if nothing really happens. Although with this film, the change is apparent with each minute that passes and even though we don’t get much in terms of what or why this is happening, we can still guess and plot what we are seeing. I’m not going to rate this but you should give it a watch. It’s only ten minutes guys…
