Richard Ayoade who starred in THE IT Crowd and that horrible alien movie The Watch directs his second film after 2011’s Submarine. I love how the trailer doesn’t give much away. Jesse Eisenberg is actually an actor that I find to be capable of more than just the neurotic character he plays in mostly all of his movies. I think this is going to be fascinating.

Okay, I have to say, that trailer was pretty good. The film is being made by José Padilha who made the extremely well done Elite Squad movies and the greatly underrated documentary Bus 174. The film also boasts a great cast with The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman played Murph/Robocop, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Sam Jackson, Jay Baruchel, and Jackie Earl Haley. That’s a huge cast and a great director. I’m going to be very disappointed if this ends up being a flop.

I’m going to admit. That trailer looks like shit. I’m eager to see Bryan Cranston play another villian but it just came off flat for me.
